HULA Pheasant

Tasty, tropical treat!!

Time: 1 hrs   •   Prep Time: 25 min   •   Cook Time: 35 min
Serving Size: 2-4 people

Ingredients

1 pheasant cut into serving pieces
1/4 cup flour
salt and pepper to taste
vegetable oil
1 10-ounce jar of Kraft Peach Preserves
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon diced minced onions
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 6-ounce can sliced water chestnuts-drained
1 sliced green pepper

Directions

Shake cut up pheasant in a bag with flour and seasonings until well coated. Brown in a skillet with a small amount of hot oil. Place in a baking dish. Mix preserves, barbecue sauce, onion and soy sauce together, and pour over browned meat. Cover and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Check for doneness. When tender, add water chestnuts and green peppers. Put on your grass skirt and lei. Continue to bake dish for 10 more minutes.
