One Dish Bear Casserole

This couldn't be easier or yummier!!!

Time: 2 hrs and 30 mins   •   Prep Time: 30 min   •   Cook Time: 1 hrs
Serving Size: 2-4 people


1 pound bear meat, cubed
2 yellow summer squash, cubed
3 potatoes, scrubbed and thickly sliced
1 small onion, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 fresh tomatoes, sliced


Place cubed meat in a greased casserole dish. Layer vegetables over meat. Add seasoning salt and pepper. Pour oil over layered meat and vegetables. Place sliced tomatoes over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until meat is tender.


A wonderful cold, wintery weekend meal.
