I wouldn't trade this recipe for all the moose in China!!
Time: 45 min • Prep Time: 20 min • Cook Time: 20 min
Serving Size: 2-4 people
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds moose round or flank steak, thinly sliced diagonally across the grain.
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 packages frozen or fresh pea pods
1 can beef consomme
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ginger
cornstarch for thickening
1 can bean sprouts, drained
Directions
Brown moose steak in large frying pan or wok. Push aside and quickly add pea pods and onion. Saute for a few minutes. Stir in a mixture of consomme and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and cooked covered for 2 minutes.
Mix together 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water. Pour into boiling liquid, stirring constantly. Boil until thickened. Add one can drained bean sprouts. Heat just until sprouts are hot.
Tips
Serve with fluffy white rice- SOOOOOO GOOD!!
