This works as well over hot coals in your campfire or shore lunch as it does on your grill at home. A simple and delicious way to cook trout.

Time: 30 min   •   Prep Time: 10 min   •   Cook Time: 20 min
Serving Size: 2-4

Ingredients

4 large trout fillets
1 cup white table wine
2 Tablespoons of butter, melted
1 Tablespoon of lemon juice
1 1/2 Tablespoons of parsley, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat your grill for medium-high heat.
Lay out two large sheets of aluminum foil, approximately 20 inches long so that they overlap. Lay your trout fillets in the center of the foil, approximately 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with white wine, melted butter and lemon juice and season with parsley, salt and pepper. Fold foil around fish, and crimp the seams to seal.
Place the whole packet on the grill and cook for 15 - 20 minutes, or until fish is cooked through. Serve hot with your choice of sides.

Tips

If you're ever on a fly-fishing/camping trip, try this with fresh trout cooked over hot coals in your campfire. Somehow, it just never tastes better than it does then. Works great on the grill too.
