Venison Steak Polynesian

If you like pineapple and pepper, you will love this recipe.

Time: 35 min   •   Prep Time: 10 min   •   Cook Time: 25 min

Ingredients

1 pound venison round or back steaks
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup corn oil
1/2 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon salt
2 or 3 green bell peppers (cut in 1" squares)
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
Hawaiian Pineapple Sauce
Boiled Rice

Directions

Cut venison steaks into 1" to 2" cubes and sprinkle with flour. Brown in hot oil. Add water and salt. Simmer over low heat until tender. Boil pepper pieces for 10 minutes and drain. Add pepper squares and pineapple chunks to browned venison. Pour Hawaiian Pineapple Sauce over venison and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
