This venison appetizer can also be used as the main meal, depending on what you're in the mood for. My kids like it as much as I do.

Time: 30 min   •   Prep Time:   •   Cook Time: 15 min
Serving Size: 8 servings

Ingredients

2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 quart oil for frying
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Italian seasoning
1 pound of venison steaks, cut into strips
1 egg (beaten)

1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of prepared mustard

Directions

Heat the oil in skillet or deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a bowl, mix up the Parmesan cheese, flour and Italian seasoning. Next dip the venison strips in the beaten egg, then in the flour mixture to coat the strip evenly.
Fry the coated venison strips in the 375 degree oil until golden brown.
Melt the brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, and mix in the mustard. Serve it as a dipping sauce with venison strips. Or, if you prefer other types of sauces, feel free to try those as well. Enjoy!
