Tasty Duck with Sauerkraut

Altogether different taste for duck. Give it a try- you will LOVE it!!

Time: 1 hrs and 45 mins   •   Prep Time: 15 min   •   Cook Time: 1 hrs and 30 mins
Serving Size: Serves four people

Ingredients

1/2 duck per person
1 large can sauerkraut
1 cup applesauce
1 tsp. caraway seeds (optional)
1 tsp. dried, minced onions

Directions

Season duck with salt and pepper to taste. Place in a roasting pan with cover. Rinse sauerkraut with water and let drain, pressing kraut until all water is removed. Mix with applesauce, caraway seeds and onions. Place around ducks. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Tips

You might enjoy this with creamy mashed potatoes, fresh raisin and carrot salad, and corn muffins!! Hungry yet???
